Research Area
The project is embedded in the OTP-NWO funded project “BATT-AI,” in collaboration with TU Delft and industry partners. It focuses on the following areas:
- Risk-aware optimization of grid capacity
- Dynamic capacity allocation of energy storage systems
- Market participation and grid stability solutions
Eligibility/Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field (or will shortly acquire)
- Experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis of power systems and BESS is desirable
- Knowledge of mathematical modeling, optimization, and AI/ML techniques is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Team spirit and ability to work in an interdisciplinary international environment
- Proficiency in English
