Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in (bio)chemical engineering, food science & technology, biotechnology, microbiology, or a related field (preferably awarded after March 1, 2024).
- Excellent academic record.
- Interest in food processing, food microbiology, and food safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research setting.
- Experience with lab-scale experimentation and scientific writing is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
Job Description
- Design, optimize, and validate pasteurization processes for next-generation non-alcoholic beers.
- Conduct experimental research focusing on the impacts of pasteurization on sensory characteristics and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in both Belgium and Norway.
- Present findings at international conferences and publish in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
