Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Epidemiology, One Health, Health and Environment, or a closely related field within Life Sciences.
- Proficiency in environmental sampling, molecular biology, and statistical methods.
- Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and creativity are essential.
- Practical experience with sample collection and/or laboratory work.
- Proficiency in statistical methods and the R programming language.
- Background in microbiological and molecular biology techniques.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
- Valid driving license required.
Job Description
- Collect air samples and nasal swabs from workers at participating companies.
- Coordinate laboratory work to identify biological agents in the collected samples.
- Analyze data and disseminate findings through scientific publications and presentations.
- Focus on sectors affected by transitions in agriculture, food and protein production.
