Description
The PhD position focuses on the development of a store-and-sense on-chip liquid crystal emulsion platform for real-time detection of amphiphilic biomolecules. Candidates will engage in profiling novel stabilizers for sensor sensitivity, developing optical assays for detecting biomolecular interactions, and creating a portable array of liquid crystal-based biosensors. The research involves interdisciplinary collaboration and utilizes techniques in biochemistry, molecular biology, microfluidics, and microscopy.
