Job Description:
The PhD project aims to develop a holistic approach to the energy performance of various types of personalized comfort systems (PCS) by analyzing heat transfer between the PCS and the human body. The candidate will:
- Simulate asymmetric and heterogeneous thermal exposures using existing tools and scientific literature.
- Conduct systematic experimental studies with full-body thermal manikins and HVAC monitoring manikins, including data analysis and model development.
- Design and perform human comfort trials to validate findings.
- Write and present scientific contributions, including journal papers, conference presentations, and outreach events.
