Eligibility/Qualification

  • University degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  • Background in Theoretical and/or Computational Chemistry, combined with knowledge in Materials Chemistry (ideal).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with quantum-chemical software, high-performance computing, and Linux.
  • Basic programming skills in Python or other languages (beneficial).

Job Description

  • Guide the development of optical materials.
  • Systematically extend molecular fragmentation schemes to periodic systems.
  • Enhance the in-house Python-based fragmentation library for fragmentation schemes.
  • Act as a teaching assistant in various courses related to physical and/or computational chemistry.
