The PhD project involves:

  • Using multielectrode arrays to record spiking activity from isolated retinas of genetically modified mice.
  • Conducting model-driven data analysis and assessing neural coding under optogenetic stimulation.
  • Collaborating within a vibrant research environment, including the Collaborative Research Center “Disease Mechanisms and Functional Restoration of Sensory and Motor Systems.”
