Eligibility/Qualifications:
- Must have a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in optimization techniques, data analysis, and machine learning
- Strong skills in dynamic systems modeling, control, and simulation
- Excellent scientific programming skills (e.g., Matlab, Python, Julia)
- Preferable experience or knowledge of building systems and HVAC
- Preferable familiarity with advanced control techniques and system identification
- Ability to conduct literature reviews and scientific writing
- Excellent command of English language
Job Description:
The successful candidate will delve into research on optimizing HVAC systems for enhanced energy efficiency and comfort. The project spans 2 years at IMT Atlantique, followed by 9 months at Veolia and 3 months at TU Delft, under the Horizon Europe – COFUND program.
