Description
The ACAI project aims to explore whether AI can act as a genuinely creative entity rather than merely emulating human creativity. Key questions include the exploration of AI’s autonomy in defining its goals and understanding the societal implications of such creative systems. The PhD candidate will engage in artistic and theoretical work while collaborating with a postdoctoral researcher.
Responsibilities:
- Creative Practice/Theory: Speculate on autotelic creative futures and engage with overlapping fields relevant to ACAI.
- Curation and Public Engagement: Assist in curating exhibitions and public engagements.
- Stewarding: Guide artists and support commissioned practices.
