PhD Position in Cultivated Barley, Czech Academy of Sciences

Postdoc in Czech Republic

PhD Position in Cultivated Barley: The Institute of Experimental Botany at the Czech Academy of Sciences is offering a PhD position focused on the analysis of parental conflict in cultivated barley (Hordeum vulgare). This research aims to explore the genetic and molecular basis of unbalanced parental genome dosages and their impact on seed development, which is critical for grain production.

PhD Position in Analysis of Parental Conflict in the Development of Cultivated Barley

Designation

PhD Student in Chromatin Organization and Function Group

Research Area

  • Genetics and molecular biology of cereal seed development
  • Parental conflict in seed development
