Description
The PhD candidate will:
- Investigate the lineage and role of progenitor populations involved in digit specification using fluorescent lineage tracing in wild-type and genetically altered mouse models.
- Assess the impact of genetic ablation of specific progenitor populations on digit organogenesis.
- Utilize advanced techniques to explore how modifications in the limb progenitor blueprint affect digit numbers and identities in the context of congenital malformations and evolutionary diversification.
