Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A strong MSc in science, preferably in microbiology, molecular microbiology, microbial ecology, biotechnology, or a related field
  • Proficiency and experience in microbial ecology, microbiology, metabolomics, or molecular microbiology
  • Strong theoretical background (valued but not mandatory)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Motivation to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the area of ecology and evolution of microbial communities. The focus of the project can be tailored to the interests of the applicant, providing an opportunity for a customized research experience. Responsibilities include planning and executing experiments, data analysis and interpretation, contribution to teaching duties, writing publications, and presenting work at various forums.
