Research Area
The focus of the research project is on developing fully automated image processing methods for hip-fracture risk assessment, specifically utilizing image-based biomarkers from finite element (FE) analysis of the proximal femur.

Description
The position is fully funded by The Icelandic Research Fund (RANNIS) for three years. The goal is to establish proof-of-concept for future applications in FE analysis related to clinical scenarios, supported by extensive international collaboration.
