Project & Research Description
The research project aims to create generalized models for emission and immunity related to HVDC installations. You will investigate network resonances, interactions between multiple HVDC installations, and the effects on grid-connected equipment like transformers. The work will primarily involve theoretical modeling and simulations, with potential opportunities for laboratory and field measurements.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: MSc or equivalent technical degree in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, electronics, energy, or engineering physics.
- General Requirements: Must meet the requirements for third-cycle educational programs (e.g., a second-cycle degree or at least 240 credits with 60 from second-cycle courses).
- Language: Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English is required.
- Merits: Previous experience in research/development or an ability to contribute to the education group in Swedish is considered a merit.
