Eligibility/Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in cognitive neuroscience or related fields (psychology, biology, biomedical sciences, computer sciences, or similar)
  • Strong interest in affective neuroscience and its applications
  • Experience in psychophysiology analysis (e.g., using MATLAB, Python)
  • Familiarity with virtual reality game design and user experience assessment
  • Proficiency in statistical analyses (R or similar tools)
  • Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English

Job Description

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance and validate a virtual reality biofeedback game.
  • Conduct user-interaction tests and psychophysiological measurements of autonomic nervous system responses.
  • Optimize biofeedback algorithms and aid in the setup of large-scale trials to evaluate the methods’ effectiveness.
  • Partake in teaching responsibilities within the psychology curriculum.
