Eligibility/Qualifications
- Master’s degree in cognitive neuroscience or related fields (psychology, biology, biomedical sciences, computer sciences, or similar)
- Strong interest in affective neuroscience and its applications
- Experience in psychophysiology analysis (e.g., using MATLAB, Python)
- Familiarity with virtual reality game design and user experience assessment
- Proficiency in statistical analyses (R or similar tools)
- Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English
Job Description
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance and validate a virtual reality biofeedback game.
- Conduct user-interaction tests and psychophysiological measurements of autonomic nervous system responses.
- Optimize biofeedback algorithms and aid in the setup of large-scale trials to evaluate the methods’ effectiveness.
- Partake in teaching responsibilities within the psychology curriculum.
