- Ability to work independently and within an international research team.
- Preferred skills include experience in eco-evolutionary dynamics, mixed effects models, demographic analyses, and empirical work with animals (especially seabirds).
Job Description:
The PhD candidate will:
- Conduct fieldwork with an international team studying a natural population of common terns.
- Perform statistical analyses on long-term individual-based data, incorporating pedigree information.
- Collaborate with researchers from Bielefeld University and the Institute of Avian Research.
- Present research findings at conferences and publish in international scientific journals.
- Assist with organizational tasks within the research group.
