Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in biology (specialization in evolutionary biology, population genetics, modeling, bioinformatics, or related fields).
- Completion of at least 240 higher education credits (60 at Master’s level including a 15-credit independent project).
- Skills in advanced population genomics and bioinformatics.
- Strong interest in evolutionary biology.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in population genomic modeling (e.g., using SLiM).
- Skills in genome assembly from long-read data, whole-genome resequencing.
- Background in botany or practical work with plants.
- Familiarity with sex chromosomes and meiotic drive.
