Eligibility/Qualification

RequirementDetails
Master’s DegreeIn Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field with excellent credentials.
Technical SkillsStrong expertise in machine learning and computer vision; experience with XAI preferred.
Medical Data ExperiencePrevious work with medical data or healthcare projects, particularly in dermatology, is an asset.
Programming SkillsAdvanced programming abilities, familiarity with modern AI frameworks, efficient coding practices.
Dataset ManagementCapability to handle complex datasets, including preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
Communication SkillsExcellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with clinicians and researchers.

Description

The PhD position will involve:

  • Curating large-scale dermatological image collections to improve data quality and relevance.
  • Interpreting clinical concepts using visual representations.
  • Developing Explainable AI decision support systems.
  • Designing and conducting multi-centric clinical evaluations.
