Description
The PhD project focuses on integrating global fossil pollen data with modern plant traits to explain ecosystem resilience and vulnerability to past climatic changes. Utilizing cutting-edge methodologies in quantitative paleoecology and data science, this research will explore ecosystem functionality since the Last Glacial Maximum and its implications for biodiversity conservation under climate change. The candidate will gain valuable skills in advanced coding, data analysis, and the use of large ecological datasets.
- Salary & Financials:
- Monthly Salary: 7,000 CZK (approx. 220 EUR after taxes)
