Description
The COLDSPOT project focuses on understanding the mechanisms that allow specific Arctic sites to act as sinks for greenhouse gases. As the Arctic experiences significant warming, studying its unique biogeochemical processes is vital to understanding its role in the global climate system. The chosen candidate will engage in field measurements, laboratory experiments, and microbial analyses, and will actively participate in collaboration with experts from associated research institutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct field expeditions and lab experiments on greenhouse gas dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with other team members and project partners.
- Present scientific results at conferences and publish research findings in scientific journals.
- Contribute to the research environment through participation in graduate school activities.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit their applications using the online application form, including the following documents:
- Cover letter
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) with contact details for two references
- Copies of degree certificates
- List of publications (if any)
