Location: Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent, 240 higher education credits) in Physics, Applied Physics, Nanotechnology, Photonics, or Electrical Engineering. Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor’s degree may also be considered.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Additional meritorious skills and experience in experimental atomic physics, optics and photonics, nanofabrication, nanomechanics, and ultrahigh vacuum systems.

Job Description:

  • Conduct world-leading research in hybrid quantum systems.
  • Develop technical and transferrable skills relevant to the research field.
  • Collaborate with an international and diverse research group.
  • Design, construct, and operate complex experimental setups.
  • Gain expertise necessary to lead a research project.

Contract Terms:

  • Full-time temporary employment for a maximum of five years.
