Job Description
The PhD research will focus on developing and using an exa-scale friendly CFD modelling framework to advance the understanding of plasma-enhanced biomass gasification systems. The candidate will explore magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) modelling, devolatilization, char oxidation, and gas/solid coupling. The research includes close collaboration with another student working on experimental plasma gasification systems, using their data for model validation.
