Eligibility/Qualification

Job Description
The PhD student will work in an interdisciplinary project studying the regulation of early spliceosome assembly. This involves utilizing a variety of technologies, including RNA-seq approaches, molecular biology techniques (e.g., proximity labelling, IP-MS), and biochemistry. The goal is to gain a detailed understanding of splicing and its regulation within the cell, focusing on splice site choice and the assembly of the spliceosome, a molecular machine that plays a key role in post-transcriptional processing. This research is fundamental to understanding both eukaryotic biology and human diseases.
