Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in geography, geology, Earth sciences, or physics.
- Interest in fieldwork, laboratory analyses, and numerical modeling.
- Experience with luminescence dating (advantage but not required).
- Interest in glacial geomorphology and sediment dynamics; prior experience is beneficial.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
Description
The successful candidate will engage with a dynamic, interdisciplinary team in advancing understanding of sediment dynamics in proglacial rivers. Responsibilities include:
- Quantifying sediment transport and storage.
- Participating in field measurements and laboratory analyses.
- Conducting luminescence dating and processing sediment export and hydrological data.
The candidate will have access to advanced analytical facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, contributing to a vibrant academic environment.
