Fully Funded PhD Position in Multimodal Characterization of Magnetic Nanomaterials with X-ray and Ferromagnetic Resonance

Location: Uppsala, Sweden
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Must hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
- Basic knowledge and skills in X-ray scattering
- Must not have resided in Sweden for more than 12 months during the period 2021-08-30 to 2024-08-31 for work or studies as the main occupation
- Proficiency in English language (minimum B2 level)
Job Description:
- Devote to research studies, participate in the research project, and PhD courses
- Optional teaching and other departmental duties (up to 20%)
- Independent project work, collaboration with other doctoral students and researchers
- Conduct experiments, in-operando characterization, and statistical data evaluation
- Travel as required for international conferences, project meetings, and training
