- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Description
The PhD project will focus on:
- Conducting metagenomic/metatranscriptomic sequencing and bioinformatic analysis of groundwater samples.
- Characterizing microbial communities in groundwater and identifying functional genes related to bioremediation.
- Evaluating risks associated with using biodegradation cultures for chlorinated ethenes degradation.
- Collaborating with a diverse team of scientists and researchers in related fields.
