Eligibility/Qualification:
- A highly motivated candidate with a strong background in organic synthesis
- Prior experience or knowledge in electrochemical and/or photophysical analysis is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge in molecular modeling is a plus
- Candidates should possess or be in the final year of a Master’s degree (M1/M2) in Chemistry or a related field
Job Description: The research focuses on designing and synthesizing new generations of organic host matrices with high triplet energy (>2.8 eV) for SL-PhOLEDs emitting white light. The project aims to:
- Develop bipolar host materials using novel molecular design strategies
- Explore bio-based semiconductor materials
- Collaborate with international research teams at Soochow University (China) and the Institute of Electronics and Digital Technologies (IETR, Rennes) for device preparation and characterization
- Work with the University of Mons (Belgium) for theoretical and experimental insights
The selected candidate will integrate the “Condensed Matter and Electroactive Systems” team, under the supervision of Dr. Cyril Poriel and Dr. Cassandre Quinton.
