Eligibility/Qualification– Masterโ€™s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or related fields

Preferred qualifications– Experience with molecular simulation software (e.g., CP2K, Quantum ESPRESSO, Gaussian, LAMMPS)
– Basic knowledge of computational methods
– Interest in machine learning applied to atomistic systems
– Teamwork ability in a transdisciplinary environment

Job Description

The PhD candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Perform atomistic simulations (DFT, molecular dynamics, enhanced sampling).
  • Develop and apply machine learning approaches for molecular modelling.
  • Analyze reaction mechanisms and the structural and dynamical properties of materials.
  • Participate in conferences and workshops.
  • Contribute to scientific publications.
