Description
The PhD position is situated within the research group led by Daan van den Broek. The project seeks to validate a ctDNA-based surveillance strategy for stage III melanoma patients post-surgery, moving beyond traditional methods that primarily depend on clinical assessments and imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and validate a melanoma surveillance assay for clinical applications.
- Conduct molecular analyses of ctDNA data from a large cohort of patients.
- Develop multimodal classifiers integrating various data sources.
- Design research studies and prepare manuscripts.
- Manage the project and supervise students.
