Eligibility/Qualification

Mandatory Requirements:

  • M.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science
  • Strong foundation in quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics
  • Experience in programming
  • Interest in atomistic modeling and surface reactions
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in atomic-scale modeling
  • Knowledge of reaction kinetics modeling
  • Proficiency in Python

Job Description

  • Conduct quantum mechanical calculations using Density Functional Theory (DFT)
  • Develop kinetic Monte Carlo models
  • Present findings in conferences and seminars
  • Potential teaching up to 20% (optional)
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary international team focused on sustainable energy research
