Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., neuroscience, genetics, molecular biology)
  • Strong interest in neurodevelopment and brain diseases
  • Experience with laboratory techniques such as ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, or RNA-seq is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

Job Description

The PhD project will focus on:

  • Developing iPSC-based models for NDDs
  • Investigating gene expression regulation and its impact on NDD phenotypes
  • Employing advanced techniques to understand neuronal functionality
  • Performing preclinical testing of modulators in disease-specific pathways
  • Using multiplexed cerebral organoids to assess multiple pathogenic variants

This role will provide a comprehensive understanding of NDDs while contributing to the development of new strategies for patient care.
