Research Area

  • An MSc degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, (Analytical) Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.

Description

The PhD role involves:

  • Conducting experimental studies to discover new volatile bioprocess biomarkers.
  • Working with yeast bioreactors and studying volatile compounds produced under different growth conditions.
  • Performing process heterogeneity studies and parallel assessments of cell physiology.
  • Engaging in a highly collaborative research environment.
  • The project aims to advance bioprocess understanding, speeding up optimization and scale-up through innovative analytics.
