Job Description:
PhD Position in Human-centric Decision Making in Operations Management
- Conduct research on human-centric decision-making in industrial engineering, operations research, and operations management.
- Address challenges in optimizing methods, mathematical models, and data-driven tools that often neglect the role of humans.
- Develop theories, methods, and modeling approaches to incorporate human decision-makers in the design and implementation process.
- Utilize case studies from supply chain planning, production scheduling, and healthcare management to explore human-centric solutions.
- Answer questions related to reducing manual workload, incorporating decision-makers’ skills, protecting data privacy, and preventing unfair work distributions.
- Contribute to the ongoing course development on Smart Industry for the IEM program.
