Description

The PhD position involves molecular beam epitaxy of AlAs/AlGaAs and AlOx/AlGaAs Bragg mirrors, structural investigations using advanced characterization techniques, and optimization of optical properties to achieve Bose-Einstein condensation of photons. The successful candidate will develop piezoelectric AlN layers for electrical wavelength tuning in microresonators, contributing to scalable architectures for quantum simulations.
