Location: Radboud University, Faculty of Science, The Netherlands
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Research University Degree (MSc) in biology, ecology, microbiology, environmental sciences, or a related field
- Proficiency in ecological data collection, statistics, and programming in R
- Good command of spoken and written English at C1 level
Job Description:
- Conduct research to understand the impact of long-term exposure to drought on plant-soil microbiota interactions
- Collect plant, soil, and microbial samples from fields, design and execute experiments
- Perform laboratory work, microbial bioinformatics analyses, and statistical analyses
- Publish research findings in scientific journals and present results at national and international conferences
- Attend courses offered by the Graduate School, supervise students, and coordinate BSc/MSc level courses
- Work towards obtaining University Teaching Qualification (UTQ)
- 25% of working time dedicated to teaching activities
