Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Business Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Strong interest in information systems, machine learning, statistics, and/or data science
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience with at least one programming language is an asset
- Excellent academic results (honors-level or better)
- Candidates must meet admission requirements for the PhD program
Additional Requirements:
- GRE or GMAT score above the 75th percentile on the quantitative section (for international candidates)
- TOEFL (minimum score: 575 paper-based, 233 computer-based, 90 internet-based) or IELTS (minimum score: 7), both not older than 5 years
Description
The research project will explore the analysis of event logs generated during process executions in various domains (e.g., loan applications, healthcare). The focus will be on developing both predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning techniques to improve understanding of event outcomes from a multi-faceted perspective. The candidate will engage in cutting-edge research aimed at enhancing the decision-making processes using data-driven approaches.
