Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline with an excellent academic record.
- Strong programming skills in Python; hands-on experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Solid understanding of molecular biology and machine learning methods.
- Proven experience in data analysis, statistics, and working with biological databases.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; very good command of English.
Description
The doctoral student will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining computational methods, algorithms, and machine learning models.
- Building and managing software tools, pipelines, and web applications to support research workflows.
- Conducting systematic literature reviews and regularly communicating research progress.
- Actively participating in group meetings and collaborating with team members.
- Presenting research findings in academic settings, creating high-quality visualizations, and preparing manuscripts for publication.
- Tutoring university-level courses and mentoring bachelor and master students when appropriate.
