DescriptionThis position is part of a project supported by the Czech Science Foundation, focusing on the role of Polinton-like viruses in mitigating protist mortality caused by Giant Virus infections. Research aims to elucidate the interaction of PLVs with GVs and their impact on protist populations through various interdisciplinary approaches. Candidates should have a keen interest in both computational and laboratory work (60% computational, 40% laboratory-based).
