Eligibility/Qualifications
- Essential:
- Master’s degree in Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, (Bio)medicine, (Bio)statistics, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Bioengineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest in quantitative methods and drug development.
- Hands-on experience with modeling and simulation software tools (e.g., NONMEM, R).
- Programming skills in R and/or Python.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (oral and written).
- Independent, proactive, rigorous, results-driven, solution-oriented, and a critical thinker.
- Collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for working in an international and interdisciplinary research environment.
- Willingness to contribute to teaching and mentoring.
- Bonus (not required):
- Prior experience with PK–PD studies.
Description
This PhD project focuses on the development of a computational platform model for biologic therapy, integrating data from clinical trials and real-world studies. The goal is to simulate and evaluate optimized dosing strategies for special populations, contributing to model-informed drug development while aligning with emerging regulatory frameworks. The position offers a full-time commitment, initially for 2 years with a possible extension to a maximum of 4 years.
