Eligibility/Qualification
- Candidates must have completed an equivalent of a master’s degree in a related subject.
- A background in quantum information theory, quantum computation, or theoretical quantum physics is required.
- Experience at the master’s level in related subjects is desirable but not mandatory.
Description
The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Alvaro Alhambra on the national project “Quantum algorithms for thermal equilibrium.” The project emphasizes mathematical and analytical approaches to quantum Gibbs sampling and quantum thermal states. The position also includes funds for attending conferences, schools, and the possibility of an international research stay. Candidates will join a collaborative group with other postdocs and students in a vibrant research environment.
