Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrochemistry, Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, or related fields.
  • Highly valued skills:
  • Hydrogeological/hydrological/hydrochemical assessment and modeling (e.g., FEFLOW, MODFLOW, SWAT, PHREEQC)
  • Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • Remote sensing
  • Scientific writing
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, international team.

Job Description

The selected candidate will engage in:

  • Fieldwork, water and sediment sampling, and laboratory analyses.
  • Numerical modeling to enhance understanding of anthropogenic impacts and contaminant dynamics within sensitive saline hydrogeological systems.
