Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines

- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset
- Open-minded, collaborative, well-organized, and possess good communication skills
Description
As a PhD candidate, you will:
- Conduct scientific investigations using advanced structural testing facilities
- Perform finite element modeling (software: ABAQUS)
- Work independently and methodically
- Present research findings at meetings and publish in international journals
- Support teaching in Bachelor and Master programs in Civil Engineering
- Guide master theses and possibly engage in consultancy activities as progress allows
