Description
This PhD project aims to develop synthetic cells that can interact with their environment, mimicking key characteristics of living systems. The research will focus on fabricating and manipulating giant lipid vesicles with various architectures to study motility, reconfiguration, and signaling under external stimuli. Signaling mechanisms will be developed through the integration of magnetic and light-responsive nanoparticles. The project is part of the SIGSYNCELL consortium, which includes European academic and private partners, coordinated by CNRS in Bordeaux, France.
How to Apply
To apply for this PhD position, ensure your candidate profile is updated and complete. Submit your application by the deadline of 31 May 2024. Specific application instructions and required documents should be provided on the official CNRS or SIGSYNCELL consortium websites.
