EducationMaster’s degree in molecular life sciences, chemistry, chemical biology or a related discipline.
KnowledgeDemonstrated knowledge in biomolecular condensates, coacervates, membrane biophysics, enzymology, or colloidal physical chemistry.
SkillsExcellent communication skills and good command of English (written and spoken).
MobilityMust meet EU MSCA doctoral network mobility criteria: should not have resided or carried out main activities in the recruiting country for more than 12 months in the last 36 months.

Description

This PhD project aims to develop synthetic cells and condensates with a tunable affinity for the GUV inner membrane through biochemical pathways regulating ATP levels and protein filament self-organization. Candidates will engage in groundbreaking research to understand condensate dynamics and their implications for synthetic and living cells. Responsibilities also include training and mentoring BSc and MSc students and disseminating research findings through publications and presentations.
