Research Area: Translational oncology, with a particular emphasis on the development of personalized therapeutic approaches for various tumor entities and the study of extracellular vesicles in the tumor microenvironment.
Location: UKE Center for Oncology, II. Med. Klinik (Häma/Onko), Germany
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed university degree in biology, chemistry, or equivalent life sciences
- Good knowledge of microscopic techniques, molecular biology, and (immuno)oncology
- Proficiency in English and common computer applications
- Strong motivation, teamwork, and communication skills
- Proof of immunization or immunity against the measles virus is mandatory
Job Description:
- Conduct functional analyses on extracellular vesicles (EVs)
- Utilize microscopic techniques such as confocal microscopy and live cell imaging
- Employ molecular and cell biology techniques
- Work with various cell lines in culture
- Generate, evaluate, and interpret data using various methods including WB, IHC, PCR, ELISA, FACS
- Present results at conferences and contribute to manuscript preparation
