Eligibility/Qualification

  • Educational Background: MSc degree or equivalent education in physics, photonics, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or computational engineering.
  • Skills Required:
  • Strong interest in quantum/optical communication
  • Good programming skills (preferably Python) for modeling and data analysis
  • Experimental work and development of optical/optoelectronic systems
  • Model development and validation against experiments
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Description

The candidate will focus on improving robust underwater quantum communication by developing experimental and analytical tools. The role involves:

  • Designing optical systems for underwater quantum communication.
  • Conducting experiments in controlled water environments.
  • Analyzing data to link channel properties to communication performance.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in international conferences.
