Eligibility / Qualification
Essential Requirements:
- MEng in Electronic/Computer Engineering or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related discipline
- Strong programming skills and ability to develop robust software solutions
- Proficiency in web application development (JavaScript and modern frameworks)
- Experience with Digital Twin technologies, 3D Visualisation/Simulation, or Virtual/Augmented Reality
Desirable Skills:
- Teamwork and proactive work ethic
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Design, development, and testing expertise
- Ability to produce technical documentation
- Experience in diagnostics, bug-fixing, and reporting

Job Description
The selected PhD fellow will:
- Design and develop information models for representing diverse datasets in a 3D spatial environment
- Create advanced data integration, analysis, and machine learning solutions for urban digital twins
- Implement effective visualisation and simulation tools for sustainable city planning
- Contribute to the Multiroofs Project by developing strategies, digital tools, and capacity-building resources for multifunctional rooftop usage across North-West Europe
- Collaborate in a research team, meet project deadlines, and publish in peer-reviewed venues
