Eligibility/Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, environmental engineering, or related field
- Strong computational methods background
- Programming skills (Python highly preferred)
- Software development and version control knowledge
- Excellent English communication skills
Preferred:
- Hydrological concepts knowledge
- Large-scale modeling experience
- Parallel computing expertise
- Cloud computing platform experience
Description
The candidate will:
- Develop computational methods for large-scale hydrological analysis
- Work with machine learning and data assimilation techniques
- Contribute to HydroHub.org development
- Handle large datasets from various sources
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Publish research in academic journals
