Description
This PhD project is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie project MiningBrines, which focuses on developing a strategy for extracting critical raw materials and energy from geothermal brines across Europe. Key tasks include:
- Implementing geothermal plants in energy system optimization models.
- Evaluating economic viability and cost competitiveness of geothermal plants.
- Assessing future demand and price trends for critical materials.
- Conducting interdisciplinary research and collaborating with international project partners.
