Eligibility/Qualification
- Excellent Master’s degree in Physics, Material Science, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on semiconductor technology or nanotechnology
- Strong knowledge of solid state physics and semiconductor physics
- Experience in experimental laboratory work (clean room environment)
- Programming skills in Python or MATLAB
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented and diverse environment
Description
The project aims to fabricate and characterize innovative 1T1R elements and small 1T1R crossbar arrays within the backside area of silicon chips. Responsibilities include:
- Design, fabrication, and optimization of metal-oxide-based memristive devices compatible with BEOL and 2D transistors
- Conducting electrical characterizations and developing analysis codes
- Collaborating with a consortium to disseminate research findings through publications and conferences
- Demonstrating small application scenarios and future research discussions
